As any Keene State College student knows, the registration process is a gigantic obstacle in the pursuit of higher learning. Sometime in the month of March, the Registrar's Office sends students their notification e-mails, letting them know the exact date and time when they are eligible to log on and officially register for courses.
Among several things, the Fifth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution requires that "[no] person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself." Essentially, this means that no one should be tried or punished more than once for the same crime nor should they be made to testify against or incriminate themselves.
I have said it before, and I will say it again. I am not a fan of class- specific only dorms, especially freshman only dorms. Why should the freshmen get all the new and fancy dorms and the rest of the classes are stuck with some relics from the past? Pondside I is great and everything, but I know the newly renovated Fiske is much better.

The uproar over Keene State College's lack of housing for upper classmen has been incredible. I've been invited to Facebook groups titled "Fight for Housing" and "Keene State Housing Screwed Us Over." While I, a sophomore, pack my bags and get ready to move off campus next year, many of my friends did not want to do the same.
According to the recent article about Greek organizations being forced to nationalize in order to receive Keene State College's recognition, Delta Nu Psi and Tau Phi Xi faced the harsh realities and trials of going national. I knew about KSC forcing Greek Life to go national months before The Equinox covered this ordeal.
Last week, Tom Mathews wrote "we are not fighting for oil in Iraq, so wake up." Then, why are we in Iraq? I doubt it is a mere coincidence that our current Vice President, Dick Cheney, CEO of Halliburton Corp. from 1995 to 2000, said in 1999 that "the Middle East, with two-thirds of the world's oil and the lowest cost, is still where the prize lies.
